Message from the Dean

law_agaudio The fact that you’re reading this probably means that you're trying to decide whether to go to law school and, if so, which one to attend. If you have the interest and the ability, a career in the law can be exciting and rewarding. As an attorney you can be in a position to help shape the future of society for the good of all and that can be very satisfying.

But what law school should you attend? Western New England College offers a full, well-rounded curriculum taught by experts and scholars in their respective fields— faculty who are interested in helping you to learn and understand the law to your fullest ability. Students work with faculty in a close community of learning. Our faculty have an open-door policy and are available for your educational and professional development. We pride ourselves on being a school where you and your fellow students can obtain a fundamental understanding of the philosophy and structure of the law, as well as the practical application of that law to everyday issues you will experience as an attorney. Our first year section size is purposefully among the smallest in the country in order to promote collegiality and effective learning. Our clinics, externships and vast array of skills courses will allow you the opportunity to develop classroom knowledge into genuine professional skills. Your step out of the law school door and into the legal profession will be smooth.

But don’t take my word for it; come and visit us. Our Assistant Dean of Admissions, his staff, and I all look forward to meeting you personally. Give us an opportunity to show you a law school that sparks with excitement and collegiality. We regularly hold open houses for people interested in attending law school. If our open houses don’t fit into your schedule, we’d be pleased to give you a personal tour of the School to fit your available time. For many of you we will also be available in person at your college or at a law school forum in your vicinity. For the times of our Open Houses, please check the Visiting page of our site. While on this website, take a deeper look at the quality education we provide.

We hope that you will join us in an exciting and enjoyable law school educational experience.
